Etisalat Afghanistan Launches 4G LTE in Kandahar
On 26th July 2020, Etisalat Afghanistan launched its 4G LTE services in Kandahar province. After Kabul and Jalalabad, Kandahar is now officially the third province where Etisalat offers 4G LTE services to its customers.
With 4G LTE, the fourth generation of mobile phone, Etisalat customers in Kandahar can now enjoy up to ten times high-speed internet at the same prices as their 3G plans. The customers will also have different options to choose for their data plans using a wide range of 4G LTE data bundles such as the daily 300MB bundle at AFN15 only- offered to welcome customers.
‘The waiting is finally over and here we are in the great city of Kandahar with our 4G LTE network,’ said Etisalat Afghanistan CEO, Matthew Willsher. ‘We believe this will transform telecommunications in Kandahar as the individuals and businesses will experience unprecedented connectivity and affordability.’
Etisalat expects to expand its coverage after the 4G LTE launch in Kandahar. Currently, Etisalat has a list available on its website and Facebook page to show the exact locations where its 4G LTE services is available.
