Etisalat, 4th Annual Quran Contest a huge success

Kabul: July 3, 2011: Etisalat Afghanistan has begun conducting its 4th Annual Quran recitation contest in Kabul. In the past 3 years the contest has been held annually for participants from all over Afghanistan. The 4th annual contest started on June 30th and the finals will take place on 9th July, where scores of youth under 21 have taken part and the winner of will be sent to Dubai to participate in Dubai International Quran contest.

Caravan, the Campaign on Wheels, is a mobile sales team of EA. These teams will visit throughout the city to create awareness about EA Brand & current Promotions. It will start with Kabul, with success of Kabul campaign it will be started to Provinces.

The team along with the mobile unit (caravan van is well branded & equipped with campaign materials and audio Commercials) are deployed in city/rural areas to Sell SIM Cards, Top Ups, distribute Leaflets. They also run audio commercials for a greater impact on the crowd.

of the population is now covered by telecommunications networks. It has licensed four GSM operators and has created an environment of healthy, transparent competition and low-cost, broad accessibility.
